Welcome to LAPS Liberia

The Liberia Association of Psychosocial Services (LAPS) is a Liberian non-governmental organization, established in August 2007 and is dedicated to bring relief to survivors of war  trauma and torture as well as GBV of all age groups, so as to enable them  effectively function in their communities.

MISSION

Our mission is "to stop torture in Liberia and dignify the lives of stranded and returned migrants, survivors of torture and organized violence, gender-based violence (GBV), substance abuse, and other types of traumatic events".

VISION

Our vision is "a world in which the lives of vulnerable and traumatized people are dignified and where they can fulfill their potential and participate fully in their communities".
